Aerobics & Body ToningTuesdays at 6.30pm

Our Aerobics & Body Toning class is held at DUNVANT

The class includes a pulse raising warm up which also introduces the steps to be used in the more energetic aerobic routine. For further information on class format, please click on ‘a Typical Class’.

This energetic comprehensive group exercise session is fun to do and can also incorporates legs, bums and tums giving you total body conditioning work and also attacks the abdominal area. The session will also use resistance bands and small hand weights for both upper and lower body conditioning.

Intermediate Level Pilates – Thursdays 7.30pm

NEW Intermediate Pilates class are held at DUNVANT

Pilates is great for correcting posture, re-aligning your body, flattening abdominals and creating long lean muscle tone. Pilates uses a unique system of slow and controlled exercises. We concentrate on the quality of the movement rather than the quantity, which leaves you feeling refreshed rather than exhausted.  You are encouraged to concentrate on how you are feeling, which promotes a true mind-body workout. It does require practice and patience, but the results are well worth it. Pilates can be a wonderful form of exercise.

Pilates 10 Week Coursecurrent course started  Tuesday 26th January 7.30pm

The course is held in DUNVANT

The 10 week course is limited in places so that that the class size is smaller. More time can be spent on individual technique and progress, getting to know your body and also relaxation techniques.

Cardio-Kickboxing for Women  Wednesdays at 6.30pm

at our new Uplands venue

Our Cardio Kickboxing class is a full-body workout. If you do the punches with precision and power, you’ll strengthen your upper body and eventually see more muscle definition. The kicks will strengthen your legs, especially the hamstrings and will firm your abdominal muscles. In fact, all of the moves, when done correctly, will make your torso into a solid base that lets you do everyday tasks more easily and with more strength.

Bollywood Fusion Aerobics  Thursdays

NEW TIME now 6.30pm

Held at DUNVANT venue

a full cardio workout inspired by Bollywood (indian film industry)! Bollywood Fusion Aerobics incorporates some funky moves inspired by the Bollywood movie industry and energetic ‘Bhangra’ from the Punjab in Northern India with aerobics style steps . Workout to a funky fusion of rap R&B and Indian remix beats – you’ve never experienced anything like it!

This workout can be enjoyed by people of all ages, background and fitness levels. You’ll find these moves will strengthen, tone and shape your body and best of all, you’ll be having fantastic fun doing it!

 

‘Retro’ Aerobics  – Mondays at 6.30pm

Our latest, exciting class – Get fit and dance away those calories with our fun and funky workout to retrospective music from the 70’s – 80’s and 90’s!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tone the Zone (see News & Announcements) **RESTARTED 25th January**

A woman’s best friend: ‘Tone the Zone’ is a total blast of body conditioning techniques to strengthen, tone and reshape the body. With the aid of dumbells and resistance bands we do several repetitions of each exercise to create lean muscle definition in the upper body, abdominals and lower body. If you keep up with this class you will see noticeable changes in your muscle tone and body shape!
